In the spirit of Christmas, Big River Title will be donating to Our lady of the Lake, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fund.  Specifically, to Dr. Sheila Moore who has done more for children with Cancer than any other organization in Louisiana.  Dr. Moore saw a need for the Children suffering from cancer here in Louisiana, and her work with cancer patients brought forth Children’s Hospital Cancer research center at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge.  No longer do families have to travel to Memphis for treatments when they can have their treatments close to home to be with loved ones.  Truly a miracle for the families of sick children.

It was through Dr. Moore’s hard work and dedication to her patients that brought this award-winning cancer treatment to Louisiana.  Fifty years ago, only one in ten children with cancer survived.  Today thanks to the amazing work of St. Jude’s Children’s research Hospital, nine out of ten children survive.
